What we collect
When you use the enquiry form we collect:
- your name and phone number
- your email address, if you choose to give it
- the type of work you're interested in and the details you write about your space
If you message us on WhatsApp, we'll also have your WhatsApp number and any messages and photos you send.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, give you a price, and arrange and carry out any work or delivery you ask for. We do this because you've asked us to, and because it's needed before we can agree a job with you.
We don't sell your details or use them for marketing, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
Who else sees it
Enquiry form messages are passed to our email inbox by Web3Forms, a form delivery service, and are stored in our email account with Microsoft. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta). These services only process your details to deliver and store our messages.
If you become a customer, your name, address and invoice details are kept in our accounting software and shared with our accountants.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry doesn't lead to any work, we delete it within 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep invoices and related records for 6 years, as UK tax rules require.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email or call Arran using the details above.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
